Visible 635nm red laser pen
Uses include:
Continuity checking of fibre optic systems
Identifying fibre ports in densely populated cabinets
Polarity checking of duplex 2 fibre connectors, links and patch cords
Fibre break locating. Red laser light is emitted from breaks in 250µm primary coated or 900µm buffered fibres and up to 3mm jacket patch cords
Continuous wave or flashing mode (which can make it easier to see the light in congested cabinets)
Two versions are available. One with a 5km range (black), the other 3km (white)
Powered by 2 x AA batteries (included). Carry case included
The pen has a female universal 2.5mm ferrule interface (e.g. for FC, SC, ST, E2000 patch cords)
To interface with LC and MU connectors please order the optional VFL-ADP1.25 adaptor
