Cable Reels
- A range of hand wound cable reels for re-deployable trunk cables/preterms
- Applications include outside broadcast, emergency restoration, military communications and other temporary communication links
- The reels feature a brake to prevent the reel moving during transit and a folding handle
- Heavy duty steel construction. The strong frame also serves as two carrying handles
- The large core diameters of the reels are compatible with fibre optic and data cables
- An optional flange is available for securing pulling socks to the side of the drum
- The cable capacity of each drum can be calculated as follows:
- D is the cable diameter in METRES
- SK4600 = (0.026157÷D²)×0.85
- SK4601 = (0.036620÷D²)×0.85
- SK4602 = (0.052310÷D²)×0.85
- Drum flange diameter 460mm. Inner core diameter 280mm
