EPO-TEK® ET301 Spectrally Transparent Epoxy
- A two component, room temperature curing spectrally transparent epoxy
- Adhesive for glass and plastic fibers; wicking into fiber bundles used in patch cords, endoscopes or sensor devices; adhesive/seal/encapsulant used for fiber packaging and components; transmission of IR up to 2500 nm; terminating fibers into ferrules
- Very low viscosity pourable liquid
- Excellent optical-mechanical properties.
- Available in 2.5g or 4g bi-packs or an 8oz kit (bottles)
- The bi-packs ensure the correct mixing ratio of resin and hardener
- Pot life 1-2 hours
- Curing time 24 hours @ 23°C, 1 hour @ 65°C
- Refractive index 1.519 @ 589nm
- Spectral transmission @ 23°C
- ≥ 99% @ 382-980nm
- ≥ 97% @ 980-1,640nm
- ≥ 95% @ 1,640-2,040nm
